My background
I'm naturally optimistic and always ready to help. Involved in the arts and culture for almost two decades, I have worked in various artistic fields including visual arts, film, music, publishing and theater.
Familiar with artistic associations and non-profit organizations, I have solidified my administrative and financial skills over time. I've worked as a general, financial or administrative manager for various organizations in France and Canada, and I've also taken specialized studies and training courses on the fundamentals, including accounting, economics, business law, management systems... Over the years, I've especially had the wonderful opportunity to benefit from invaluable transfers of expertise from professionals who have offered me their knowledge, methods and thoughts with seriousness and kindness. Many thanks to them :)
I'm committed to francophone communities in minority settings, specifically in the heart of Manitoba's francophonie, where I've lived for the past fifteen years. I continue to grow and expand my professional network and friendships, day after day, with the diverse members of this amazing community. I work in French and, in addition to Manitoba's independents and organizations, I've been fortunate enough to have service contracts with regional and national organizations in other Canadian provinces.
Interesting fact: In 2021, 112,115 Manitobans (8,4% of the Manitoban population) could have a conversation in French. Almost all (98.5%) could also do so in English! All over the country, almost 10.4 million of Canadians can carry on a conversation in French.
